■ How to use
Usage is simple.
1.[SALES PRICE] and press enter the price that is sold.

2.[POINT], press Enter percentage point reduction.
3.[CAL] and press the button at the top "Calculated Price" (price seems to be cash equivalents) are presented.



■What is POINT BUSTER
A shopping discount by cashback point method (1 point = $1) used at stores seems to be similar to an ordinary shopping discount but it is not an equal value. If one considers the point as simply subtracting it from actual product price, you would play into the hands of store (or you would lose money).

The primary reason would be “A customer is forced to pay more at the time of product purchase”.
When a customer purchases a product at store with cashback points, the customer immediately can’t get a benefit from actual discount; therefore, it would be the same that a customer purchases “Product (A)” and “Product (B) or a product that will be purchased in future with cashback points” simultaneously.

It means that a customer obtains Product (A) + (B) at the purchasing price of Product (A).

When a customer purchases a product at the price of $1000 with 100% discount rate, the customer can purchase it by paying $0, but when a customer purchases a product with 100% cashback rate, the customer needs $1000 first to purchase a product and then acquires 1000 cashback points from the purchase. With consideration of $1000 worth of product and 1000 cashback points, it would be the equivalent value as the customer actually purchases $2000 worth of products by paying $1000. It means that the customer just purchases $2000 worth of products with 50% discount rate. “POINT BUSTER” will make a calculation to respond to this problem and provide a “Cash Price” as an equivalent price.

In addition, it would be important about “A customer can’t acquire cashback points at the time when the customer actually uses the points for discount”. “POINT BUSTER” can also be used for the situation with its unique calculation method.
